Mohammed Ahmed Said Al Jahwari is the Managing Director of S&T Group’s oil and gas company, Hydrocarbon Finder. An entrepreneur at heart has chartered an unusual path to growth over the last 17 years of his career and was named Oman’s Entrepreneur of the Year in 2006. In his quest for excellence Al Jahwari has explored new possibilities and opportunities across Saudi Arabia, Dubai and Oman, working in travel, as a technician and finally, found his passion in oil and gas.

In the oil and gas industry, he has worked with Muscat Overseas Oil and Gas, Baker Hughes Intec and Halliburton. In 2001, Al Jahwari started his own venture Midwest Oilfield Services specialising in directional drilling, well planning, turbine drilling, drill bits supply, rig automation and other associated services that has grown rapidly over the years and outperforms some of the leading names in the industry. His expertise and knowledge in oil and gas exploration will help strategically drive and grow Hydrocarbon Finder.

Al Jahwari is always on the lookout to invest in meaningful ventures. Nomad Tours, a tourism company specialising in luxury sea cruises and sports game fishing is one of his successful ventures that won the 2006 and 2007 International Game Fishing Association (IGFA) Sindbad Classic, representing Oman in the IGFA Rolex world championship. Al Jahwari is well versed in Arabic, English, Swahili and Urdu.
