S&T promotes the company’s strong safety culture at the World Safety Week 2018, Muscat, Oman

With a view to promote Health & Safety at work, many companies – both government & private – participated in the Ministry of Manpower OHS (Occupational Health and Safety) Exhibition 2018, a four day event held in the Avenues Mall, Muscat from 29th April till 2nd May 2018, showcasing technology, ideas and practices of the safety world.

‘Workplace Health, Safety and Wellness’ was the theme of the exhibition. Ministry of Manpower, Oman was the government partner of the event. Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Manpower Health and Safety Department, Public Authority for Civil Defense, Public Authority for Social Insurance, Dalma Energy, Petroleum Development Oman, Majan Health Services, STS – Special Technical Services, Oman Oil Company Exploration and Production LLC to name a few; participated in the exhibition.

S&T kiosk had a huge number of footfalls at the exhibition. Visitors – Ministry Officials, Civil Defense officials, HSE professionals, Engineers and Students – appreciated S&T’s efforts and various initiatives of promoting safety at work, efficiently & consistently. S&T was the Gold Sponsor at the exhibition.

It was also an opportunity for us to know the various initiatives other companies are taking towards building a safe workplace.”

The exhibition was a great platform to effectively communicate and promote a sound Health, Safety and Environment culture of the company.
